Born and raised in New Hampshire, Ashleigh traveled all over both in and out of state both for competitions as well as leisure with her first love, Dillon, her now 26 year old Appaloosa. They first came together when Ashleigh was 15 and Dillon was 8, and together they competed in everything from flat classes to jumpers, Dressage to gymkhanas, Hunter Trials to trail challenges. They fox hunted with Wentworth Hunt Club for eight seasons, including two as staff. They covered miles upon miles of trails, many times with "Blue", Ashleigh's adopted Cattle Dog trotting along with them. Harley, a now 19 year old QH (registered: Dun Harley Nothin) also joined in many of these adventures as he was originally Ashleigh's mother's horse. 
 

Soon Quake joined the family, an OTTB rescued and rehabbed by Ashleigh who went on to compete in Dressage and trail challenges. Quake really was the first introduction to equine nutrition and resulted in a deep dive into the forage based/anti inflammatory diet and lifestyle to help his body come back and to manage the stereotypical "hard keeper" TB.

Now residing in Maine, Ashleigh's herd has grown again to include Ringo (registered: Hesa Ultimate Dream), a young grulla blanketed Appy who keeps everyone laughing on the regular. Ringo has just stared his career under saddle and so far it's been entirely bridle-less. Ringo's first year with Ashleigh was spent getting his very sore and uncomfortable body feeling better and learning all necessary ground basics, taught via clicker training. He and Ashleigh have their eyes set on seeing how far they can go in Dressage, as well as enjoying many trail miles and any other adventures that may arise.

Ashleigh lives on her private farm in Monmouth with her 3 horses, 2 cattle dogs, and her better half, John. When not horsing around, Ashleigh enjoys working on farm projects, traveling, hiking, and real estate investing.
